Running lights

I know this question has been asked before, therefore I'll share my experiences with all you guys.
This weekend I installed running lights in my new turning signals. I wanted to install new signals
anyway, since the left front one got damaged while hitting a rail guard on my way to the last Savage
meeting. And I never did like those huge, round original signals.
Anyway, I got 4 nice looking, very small aftermarket turning signals in which I mounted additional,
very tiny 12V 1W bulbs which I connected to the gray lights wire on this plug underneath the tank.
The lights come on now every time I turn on the running lights. Additionally, I put a switch in between
the plug and the bulbs so I can turn them off whenever needed.
Running lights are not allowed here in Germany, but I don't give a **** as long as it serves my security.
And it sure does. 1W is enough to let the bulbs glow faint enough to be seen and they will not outshine
the signals when turned on. And the switch is there to turn them off for the every 2 year upcoming event
of the TÜV. (inspection)
KTRSD,
Alfred
